Greetings,
My compliments on the blog. It’s interesting to see what you’re going through. I wonder if I can ask you a question:
I’m replacing the baseboards, window & door casing in my 1905 arts&crafts home in Echo Park, and I’m looking for a supplier for the lumber. Can you give me a recommendation? I’d really appreciate it.
thanks
John
Sorry for the delayed reply. It depends on the species. for reclaimed fir you could go to http://www.thereclaimer.net/ You would be milling it yourself.
Otherwise if you need in milled to a specific thickness and width you will need to take it to a lumberyard that does millwork. Or hire a woodworker to do it for you.

I’ve been enjoying your blog. We’ve been remodeling our 1925 Craftsman Bungalow in St.Louis this year and its been fun to discover that there’s a whole community of people out there that are into these great homes.
