I am 3/4 of the way through making a custom panel to fit my dishwasher. It is made of recycled douglas fir beams.

    Hi – I really like your finishing of the fir in your house. I am finishing fir wood windows, can you describe your process? I did watch your youtube piece describing your preconditioning and staining, but then in other posts you talk about shellac??
